Description:

• Shape: A flat model that can be folded to form a rectangular 3D prism.
• Materials:
  • Made from cardboard for durability.
  • Equipped with strings to facilitate folding and securing the shape once assembled.
• Usage: An educational tool to teach students about 3D geometric shapes through hands-on interaction.

Objective:

• Introduce the concept of a 3D prism in a practical and interactive way.
• Enhance fine motor skills through folding and assembling the prism.
• Improve visual and geometric understanding of dimensional relationships and shapes.

How It Works:

1. The flat model is presented to students with an explanation of its parts and how to fold it into a 3D prism.
2. Students are asked to pull the string to form the prism.
3. The prism can be used in educational activities such as measuring dimensions or identifying geometric properties.

Applications:

• Math Education:
  • Teaching 3D geometric shapes and their properties.
• Motor Skills Development:
  • Enhancing hand-eye coordination through hands-on assembly.
• Recreational Activities:
  • Incorporating the prism into interactive educational games.

Target Audience:

• Students in elementary and middle school.

Benefits of the Strategy:

• Provides an interactive, hands-on learning experience.
• Improves students’ motor and visual skills.
• Enhances theoretical understanding through practical application of geometric concepts.
• Encourages active learning, interaction, and exploration.
